Mallory Smith was a mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, youth leader and a million other words that will never adequately give her life the credit she so deserved.
Mallory grew up with a difficult childhood in many aspects. In college, after many years of recklessness on her end, she discovered a relationship with God. She dealt with her abuse & she resolved to help other young girls find love from God and safety in a way they never knew possible. Countless girls and boys would credit Mallory’s dedication to Christ in helping them to find a different life than they ever imagined possible.
When Mallory was pregnant with her first and what would be her only child, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Lupus. At this time she also discovered she would be unable to have more children. She did, however, become a foster parent to a teenage girl for over 5 years.
Unfortunately, lupus would become to great of a fight, as it developed into cerebral lupus (lupus of the brain). She fought a hard fight. Her only fear was to leave this world without a legacy. Those who knew her, knew she left more of a legacy than she could ever imagine.
Mallory passed away in June of 2016… She left behind her 5 year old son, foster daughter and husband. They were left without a mother, without a blended income & with financial burdens from the past five years of medical bills and such.
